CBS HAD TOP COMEDY, TOP DRAMA, TOP SPECIAL AND TOP PRIMETIME NEWS PROGRAM LAST WEEK
Ratings Highlights for the week ending APRIL 18
According to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Sunday, April 18 (week 30 of the 2020-2021 broadcast season), CBS finished first with 4.45 million viewers.
On Monday, BULL was first in viewers (5.12m), adults 25-54 (0.7/04) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (0.4/03).
On Tuesday, CBS was first in viewers (4.42m) with encores of NCIS, FBI and FBI: MOST WANTED.
On Wednesday, the TOUGH AS NAILS season two finale was up +25% in adults 18-49 (0.5/03 from 0.4/03) and added +300,000 viewers (3.30m from 3.00m, +10%) compared to the previous week. TOUGH AS NAILS posted its largest audience since March 3.
On Thursday, YOUNG SHELDON (8:00 pm) was the week’s most-watched comedy (7.46m) in adults 25-54 (1.3/07) and adults 18-49 (0.7/05) with its best viewer delivery since March 4. At 8:30 PM, THE UNITED STATES OF AL was first in viewers (5.45m), posting its largest audience to-date. At 9:00 PM, MOM was also first in viewers (5.35m) with its largest audience since Feb. 11. B-POSITIVE (4.08m) posted its largest audience since March 11.
CBS was first in viewers (5.58m) for the 14th consecutive Friday with first-run dramas this season. MACGYVER was first in viewers (4.33m), as was MAGNUM P.I. (5.58m). BLUE BLOODS at 10:00 PM was the week’s most-watched drama with its largest audience of the season (6.83m).
On Saturday, CBS was #1 behind NCIS franchise encores and an original episode of 48 HOURS with 2.44 million viewers for the night.
On Sunday night, CBS was first in viewers (6.83m) for the 13th consecutive Sunday and first in adults 25-54 (1.2/06) and adults 18-49 (0.8/05) for the sixth time in seven weeks. 60 MINUTES was first in viewers (8.48m), adults 25-54 (1.0/06) and adults 18-49 (0.6/05). From 8:00-11:00 PM, The 56TH ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS was first in viewers (6.28m), adults 25-54 (1.2/06) and adults 18-49 (0.8/06).
