CBS RATINGS HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING MARCH 3
CBS RETURNS AS MOST-WATCHED NETWORK;
HOLDS TITLE FOR SIX OUT OF LAST SEVEN WEEKS

“MAN WITH A PLAN” POSTS LARGEST AUDIENCE SINCE SEASON PREMIERE WHILE “MAGNUM P.I.” BEST SINCE SERIES PREMIERE
“FBI” SCORES LARGEST AUDIENCE SINCE DECEMBER
CBS returned to the top spot as the most-watched network last week, winning four nights (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday) during week 23 of the 2018-2019 broadcast season according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending March 3. CBS has been the most-watched network for six out of the past seven weeks.
For week 23, CBS had an average of 5.92 million weekly viewers, beating NBC (5.36m), ABC (4.83m) and FOX (3.44m). Season-to-date, CBS is first with 9.34 million viewers, and NBC is second (7.80m), followed by FOX (6.19m) and ABC (5.51m).
On Monday, THE NEIGHBORHOOD (7.06m) was up +6% in adults 25-54 (1.8/07 from 1.7/06) and +9% in adults 18-49 (1.2/05 from 1.1/05) and added +610,000 viewers (from 6.45m, +10%) compared to last week. THE NEIGHBORHOOD posted its third-largest audience of the season and was the night’s #1 scripted series in viewers. MAN WITH A PLAN (5.94m) was up +7% in adults 25-54 (1.5/05 from 1.4/05) and +11% in adults 18-49 (1.0/04 from 0.9/04) and added +680,000 viewers (from 5.26m, +13%) compared to last week. MAN WITH A PLAN posted its largest audience since its season premiere.
At 9:00 PM, MAGNUM P.I. (6.29m) was up +17% in adults 25-54 (1.4/04 from 1.2/04) and +13% in adults 18-49 (0.9/04 from 0.8/03) and added +320,000 viewers (from 5.97m, +5%) compared to last week. MAGNUM P.I. posted its largest audience since its series premiere. Rounding out Monday, BULL was first in viewers (6.72m).
On Tuesday, CBS was first in viewers (9.47m), as NCIS kicked off the night as the week’s most-watched show with 11.77 million viewers. At 9:00 PM, FBI was first in viewers and posted its largest audience since Dec. 4, 2018. NCIS: NEW ORLEANS was also first in viewers (7.19m).
Thursday was primarily a night of encores on CBS, but the Network was still first in viewers with 5.77 million. At 9:30 PM, new comedy FAM was an original, finishing first in viewers with 5.09 million.
On Friday, CBS was once again #1 for the 21st time this season as encores of HAWAII FIVE-0 (4.28m) and BLUE BLOODS (5.19m) both topped their respective hours.
On Sunday, CBS was also first in viewers (7.32m) as 60 MINUTES scored 10.24 million viewers and was the night’s most-watched program. GOD FRIENDED ME was second with 6.86 million, as was NCIS: LOS ANGELES (6.97m), which had its largest audience since Jan. 13. Rounding out the night, MADAM SECRETARY was first in viewers (5.19m). All three dramas were the night’s top three scripted programs in viewers.
